Purpose

目的

The aim of the Massey Business School, International Student Study Award (“the Award”) is to attract top-achieving new international students enrolling in full-time business Programmer on the Manawatu or Wellington campuses at Massey University.

梅西大学商学院国际学生奖学金（简称奖学金）的目的是吸引顶尖国际学生在梅西大学玛纳瓦图校区或惠灵顿校区就读全日制商务课程。

The Award will be based on academic merit at the discretion of the selection committee.

该奖项将以学术成绩为依据，由遴选委员会决定。

The Awards may be awarded annually, and will be to the value of $5,000 per 120 credits enrolled, for up to the total credit value of the Programmer.

 

该奖项可能每年颁发一次，其金额将达到每120学分5000美元，最高学分为课程的总学分值。

 

·         Undergraduate Programmer maximum $15,000

·         Postgraduate Programmer maximum $10,000

The total number of new awards to be awarded each year is subject to approval by the Massey Business School Executive Team.

Eligibility

Applicants must be

§  The recipient must be enrolled in an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate programmer offered by Massey Business School and subject to the programmer being available at the Manawatu or Wellington campuses.

§  得奖者必修一门由梅西大学商学院提供符合条件的本科生或研究生课程，并且接受马纳瓦图或惠灵顿校区提供的课程。

§  Recipients must be enrolled at the Manawatu or Wellington campus as "internal" students (who take courses delivered by either Internal or Block mode). Students enrolling as distance or mixed mode delivery (combination of Internal and Distance courses) will not be eligible to apply.

§  得奖者必须在马纳图瓦或惠灵顿校区登记为“内部”学生（通过内部或封闭模式进行授课的学生）。登记为远程或混合模式授课（内部和远程课程的组合）的学生将不具备申请资格。

§  Continuation of the award payment is subject to the recipient remaining in an eligible programmer and campus.

§  The Award is subject to the recipient meeting all programmer admission requirements.

§  For the purpose of this award, the academic merit is assessed as an admissions Grade Point Average determined by Massey University or equivalent measure, as determined by Massey University.

International Fees

Applicants must remain full fee paying International students whilst studying in their approved Programmer in New Zealand throughout the duration of their study.

Term

The award will be awarded for a term equivalent to the full-time study period for the recipient’s programmer, but subject to satisfactory academic performance to instalment payments after the first year.

Tenure

The tenure of the Massey Business School International Student Study Award shall commence at the start of semester one or two.

Value

The value of the Massey Business School International Student Study Award will be to the value of $5,000 per 120 credits enrolled, for up to the total credit value of the Programmer.

Undergraduate Programmer maximum $15,000 Postgraduate Programmer maximum $10,000

Payments

奖励

The award will be paid in installments as a tuition fee credit in each semester of study following confirmation of enrolment, after the official withdrawal without financial penalty date.

Instalments of the award after the first year are dependent on the recipient successfully passing all courses in the prior year of study.

Conditions of Study

Recipients must be full-fee-paying international students, who are neither citizens nor permanent residents of New Zealand or Australia. (If, during the tenure of an award, a recipient's immigration status changes so that he or she is no longer a full-fee paying international student and thereby obtains a partial refund of academic fees from the University, the award will be withdrawn).

Co-tenure

The award may not be held concurrently with any other scholarship, bursary award, or grant from Massey University

Concessions

At the discretion of Massey University, the terms and conditions of the Award may be modified in special circumstances or to avoid hardship to any recipient.

Selection

The Award will be based on academic merit at the discretion of the selection committee.该奖项将以学术成绩为依据，由遴选委员会决定。

A selection committee will be appointed by Massey Business School Executive Team to assess all applications. Outcomes will typically be notified four weeks after the closing date.

Admission

入学许可

An offer of a Massey Business School International Student Study Award is not an offer of admission to Massey University, nor does it imply approval of enrolment in a programmer at Massey University.

梅西商学院的一项提议，并不是梅西大学的录取通知书，也不是梅西大学一项课程的入学许可。

 

Closing Date

Applications close on the last working day of November for students who intend to commence their first year study in the following year to business@massey.ac.nz.
